Here are eight programs to enroll in to receive a certificate in plant-based nutrition!
1. Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate at eCornell

One of the most popular programs to enroll in to receive a certificate in plant-based nutrition is the Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate Program at eCornell. This is an online program where students will take courses including Nutrition and Society, Diseases of Affluence, and a course in Applying a Whole Foods Plant-Based Lifestyle. Each course is 2 weeks in length, with a total of 6 weeks needed to complete all three courses and receive your certificate. Students will learn psychological reasons why we're drawn to foods that don't support health, how to implement plant-based meals for you and your family, and the role of macronutrients play in your body's functions. 2. AFPA's Holistic Nutrition Certification

The American Fitness Professionals and and Associates is offering a Holistic Nutrition Certification. Students in this $799 course are trained in holistic nutrition, as well as whole foods and plant-based nutrition. Upon completion, students will be able to coach, consult, and advise clients on how to identify and help correct the nutritional causes of complaints due to health, as well as design personalized lifestyle and diet programs. Each student receives five course textbooks, a DVD with 16 hours of lectures, and a guide on establishing a holistic business. The courses are online, and students are able to complete the certification exam anytime within six months of enrolling. 3. Rouxbe's Plant-Based Nutrition Course

The Professional Plant-Based Nutrition Course by Rouxbe, is a $1300 course that focuses on vegan cooking and how eating plant-based foods affect your health. Students learn how to cook a variety of different dishes, and experiment with recipes and flavors from all around the world. The course is online, and can be done on your own time, however, students must complete the course within six months to become certified. 4. The College of Natural Health

The College of Natural Health at Kingdom University is an online program, that provides a post-secondary degree in Holistic Nutrition. The vegan, raw food, and vegetarian courses are all based on the Acid Alkaline Balance nutrition philosophy. Students learn about plant-based foods in the Acid Alkaline Balance philosophy and the ways moving up the levels can make your cellular energy, body, and healing capabilities healthier. There are many different programs and courses for students to pick and choose from, at a variety of different prices. 5. Main Street Vegan Academy

The Main Street Vegan Academy allows students to take their vegan outreach to the professional level by enrolling in an MSVA-Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator. Upon completion of the six-day, $1,995 course in NYC, students will be certified to coach, counsel, and educate groups as well as individuals on how a plant-based diet benefits your health, and the compassion that comes along with it. You'll also be qualified to help others transition to a vegan diet, and the academy says the course will give you the resources you need to set up a practice, speak for groups, and market yourself. 6. Plant Lab Vegan Sports Nutrition Course

Plant Lab is offering a course in Vegan Sports Nutrition, and you receive a certification upon completion of the course. The $500 online course is two weeks long, and students will learn about plant-based nutrition for fitness and athletics. The course goes into detail about maco and micro nutrients, plant-based protein, and superfoods for peak performance. The course isn't just for athletes, but for anyone who is interested in boosting their physical and mental health. But you don't need a nutrition certificate to make this Super Simple Potato Curry!
7. Ruby Lathon Holistic Health Programs & Nutrition Courses

Dr. Ruby Lathon is providing a Holistic Health Program as well as nutrition courses to coach students on a plant-based diet. Courses range from 1 hour health and wellness workshops, to two-day long symposiums on holistic health. Students will gain access to nutrition courses and consultations, plant-based cooking classes and demonstrations, as well as an abundance of seminars and workshops. The NutraPhoria School of Holistic Nutrition offers a number of courses and programs in plant-based health and wellness. The programs and courses are all online, which allows you to complete all work at your own pace.
