Mouse Again for the Second Time

Silver

What is debounce time?

RJN mentions it in his latest review, that of the model D. He mentions to remember to set the denounce time to 4ms. What exactly is this and what does this practice?

when you lot press on your standard mechanical switch, it hits the contact and and then it bounces briefly from momentum of you hitting the primal/switch, sometimes the momentum can be enough for the contacts to touch on again and crusade a double click. Debounce time is basically and amount of time that the switch doesnt register some other click.

its to do with the clicks you can become an issue where it double clicks on accident

level 2

So to right this you increase the denounce time? Tin this cause latency? 4ms isn't much, merely still

level 1

it is added latency to avert double clicking

the switch use a leap and the bounce can send multiple signals when clicking.

Lets say an electronic switch is off, if you at present set it to on externally and then at that place is a time where the signal will become off on off on off on until its stable on.

I'k not sure what y'all mean dude

I was wondering the exact same thing, thank you for pointing information technology out.

I'chiliad very much confronting software for my mice. Would it be fine to exit the default debounce time that comes with the mouse?

level two

I think the default debounce time is actually 10 ms, then yes, merely if you click really really fast it may not register
